5th Annual Southern Elementary Bobcat Run

Southern Elementary will be having its 5th Annual Bobcat Run this fall.
On September 16, 2017 at Beaver Dam Park, we will have a 5K Walk/Run starting at 8 AM,
and a Cub Run for kids (.25 mi) at 9:00 with awards for all age divisions following. 

 

Our registration forms will be at local businesses and Central Office
or you can register online through the link below.

Early registration is $20.00 ($10.00 for Cub Run) and all proceeds go to S.E.S..

Stuff the Bus

Stuff the Bus

 

The 7th Annual Stuff the Bus Campaign will be
Friday, July 28th from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM
and Saturday, July 29th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM
in the parking lot of Walmart.

Cash donations will be used to purchase additional school supplies and/or clothing for students

Wayland Blood Drive

Wayland Alexander Elementary Annual Blood Drive will be Friday, August 25th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM

Wayland Jump Start

Jump Start will be Tuesday, July 25th and Wednesday, July 26th from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM.
There will be a parent meeting Wednesday, July 26th at 11:30 AM

OCMS Eagle Life

Tuesday, August 1st
8:00 AM until 11:30 AM

Eagle Life is for all in-coming seventh graders

Check-in and free breakfast begin at 8:00 AM
Mini workshops begin at 8:15 AM and include:
Practicing with locks, Reviewing yearly schedules, learning the routines of the school, etc.

Parents must provide transportation to and from the school.

 

Summer Feeding Program

May 22 through August 4
Monday – Friday

With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about how children will eat healthy while school is out.  Ohio County Schools provides FREE MEALS to children 18 and under during the summer. 
Breakfast and Lunch will be available at these locations
Monday through Friday, May 22- August 4th, 2017, with the exception of  May 29th and July 4th, we will be closed.
