Hello Eagles! My name is Brianne Pope and this is my 8th year of teaching. I have lived in Bowling Green for 12 years and in my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, my church family, cooking, reading, and playing games. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and obtained my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from University of the Cumberlands in 2018. This is a subject I love and hope I am able to pass that on to my students!
At OCHS we offer several classes for our students to gain the skills to become successful, independent adults. The FCS department currently has 3 career majors students can complete: Consumer and Family Services, Early Childhood Education, and Culinary Arts. Next year, we will be offering a new pathway, Fundamentals of Teaching, for future educators. Majoring in one of these career majors offered at Ohio County will provide students with that one extra foot in the door in college or a job in that career field when they graduate high school.
