Welcome
I am a 1992 graduate of Anderson County High School. I grew up in Lawrenceburg, Ky until I attended Western Kentucky University and have remained in this part of the state since then. I have been apart of this Eagle family for about 16 years now. I started as a subsititute for the district when I was completing my education degree at WKU. Then when Mr. Rusty Albin retired I was fortunate to be the one to replace his position
and have been a health teacher here for 14 years now. Health is a great subject and I absolutly love teaching the content. Also, I went back to WKU and received a Masters in Instructional leadership (administration), as well as, a Rank I in Supervisor of Instruction and Director of Pupil Personnel.
When accepting my position as a health teacher I also became the cheer coach and maintained that position for 5 years before I stepped down to finish my masters and returned a year later to continue for another two more years. Then with the addition of our second child I stepped down as head coach and took on the role of assitant coach for four more years. Coaching is very challening and taught me alot about myself, but the pros outweighed the cons
and I truly loved be a part of helping the girls reach their potential.
In my personnel life, I meet my husband Billy in 1995 then we were married in 2000. We have three children: Johnny 10, Will 7, and Hannah 3. We spend ALOT of time watching our children play sports. We LOVE it! Johnny loves soccer and also plays basketball. Will enjoys playing football, basketball, and baseball. We stay busy traveling on weekends to play sports. Hannah hasn't started...yet. We attend Beaver Dam Baptist Church and greatly appreciate the support they provide our family. I have three older brothers, 2 live in Tennessee and 1 lives in Paintsville, KY so I enjoy the holidays when we get to visit for a little while.
