1. Go to www.ohio.kyschools.us, This is the Ohio County Schools Homepage.
2. At the top of the page, under Schools, click Wayland Elementary.
3. On the left side of the page, click on Teacher Websites.
4. Find my name, Jarren Decker, and click on it.
5. On the left side of the page, find your grade(Fourth, Fifth or Sixth) and click on it.
6. At the top of the page, click on VIEW BLOG.
7. You will see the blog post for the month. Read the information and answer your questions on a separate sheet of paper or keep the answers in your brain.
8. At the bottom of the page, click on the link, POST A COMMENT.
9. Type your answers in the box. You will need put your NAME and SCHOOL E-MAIL ADDRESS.
10. Click SAVE COMMENT!

Your answers will be sent to me for approval. After I have checked your answers, I will post your comment to the blog. IT WILL NOT SHOW UP UNTIL I GIVE YOUR ANSWERS APPROVAL.

Please be sure your answers are CORRECT!

INCORRECT ANSWERS WILL NOT EARN CREDIT!!!!

If your interesting fact is not in sentence form or does not give credit to the website where you found the information, YOU WILLNOT EARN CREDIT!

Each month we will explore a famous musical composer/artist using our blog!

There will be a short post about a famous composer/artist and three or four questions that follow.

I expect you to read the information and answer the three or four questions each month. There will also be a link to another website with information about the composer/artist. You will need to click on one of the links and find 1 interesting fact about the composer/artist. YOUR INTERESTING FACT MUST BE IN SENTENCE FORM!!!

You MUST give credit to the website when you find the intersting fact; otherwise, you will be plagarizing. So please, when you find your fact, give credit to the website. If you have questions about this, please ask Mrs. Calvert. THIS IS REQUIRED!!!!

This will be a part of your grade per nine weeks. Each composer/artist of the month with be worth 30 points. There will be two or three famous composer/artist blogs per nine weeks. You are expected to participate in the blog each month. I will give you reminders during our music classes.
